For the safety of your pet, please be sure all dogs are on leashes and all cats are in a carrier.
Vaccination Policies:
Because we are a hospital, we have certain policies that must be abided by. For the protection of your pet and all others in the hospital, everyone must be up to date on all of their vaccinations.
For Canines, this includes the Annual Exam, Rabies, Bordetella (Kennel Cough), Distemper, Heartworm Test, Deworming, and a Fecal Exam.
For indoor Felines, this includes the Annual Exam, Feline Distemper, Rabies, Deworming, and a Fecal Exam. In addition to the vaccines listed above, cats that are outdoors for any length of time are also required to have an annual Feline Leukemia/FIV test as well as the Feline Leukemia vaccine.
We ask that you provide the proper paperwork or a phone number we can contact to verify vaccination if it's been done elsewhere.
Drop off times for all surgeries and grooms:
All of our surgeries are scheduled Monday thru Friday. We request your cooperation in dropping off your companions within the first hour of the hospital opening. Monday and Wednesday, we request dropping off between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday we request dropping off between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. This gives our technicians time to examine and prep everyone for their big day.
Additional information for surgeries:
Remember to pick up your pet's food by 8:00 p.m. the night before the surgery and do not feed any breakfast the morning of the surgery. We prefer that water is left out as dehydration is always a concern. If you have any questions regarding this information please give us a call at (703) 327-0909.
Boarding Check-in:
You may drop of your pet for boarding anytime during our hours of operation. Please remember to allow a few minutes to fill out paperwork.
