Welcome to Aldie Veterinary Hospital in South Riding

The New Client page assists you in being well-prepared for your appointment.  Please take a few moments to review the important information found on this page.

What to Expect
During your first visit with Aldie Veterinary Hospital, our Veterinarian will review your pet's vaccine history, as well as any pertinent medical history. Our goal is to provide the safest immunization schedule possible. Therefore, Aldie Veterinary Hospital has developed a proprietary program we call CHARMS, which stands for Comprehensive Health Assessment and Risk Management System. Each vaccination schedule is tailored especially for your pet, based on the specific lifestyle and potential exposure to diseases.

We believe preventative medicine is the key to provide lifelong health through annual exams, immunizations, spaying and neutering, dental cleanings, as well as geriatric profile. We will provide you with recommendations and information needed in helping you make educated decisions ensuring your pet gets the best care he or she deserves.

Our Fees & Payment Options
How do you choose your vet? Do you look at services offered, hospital location, or strictly cost? As with human doctors, veterinarians and hospitals are very different from one another; it is often difficult to compare. Often less cost correlates to unperformed services, which can affect your pet's health and actually cost you more in the long run, due to misdiagnosis and untreated medical conditions.

At Aldie Veterinary Hospital, your pet's health is our most important priority. Therefore, we will always recommend what we know to be the highest level of care, which may require a higher cost. We fully understand that each individual situation is different when it comes to the financial obligation of a pet. Therefore, as long as alternative approaches are available that will not put your pet at greater risk; we will communicate these, as well. Having all the options will help you make informed decisions in maintaining your pet's healthy well being.

Without having seen you or your animal, it is difficult to quote fees online. We want to fully understand the needs of your animal, so please contact us to receive a detailed estimate for the costs of procedures, medications or exams.

We accept Cash, MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Debit Cards, Personal Checks, and Care Credit

Who's Talking About Aldie Vet?
I believe that the Aldie Vet Hospital is the Johns Hopkins  for pets of  N. VA for 2 main reasons: I believe that: 1.  Aldie Vet follows procedures which are far more thorough than other vet hospitals in this area.  Read More

I have been bringing our pet zoo to Aldie Vet for the last three years (3 dogs and 2 cats) and this last visit was especially amazing. Dr. Griffings was giving our cat Crosby a checkup and she took the time to let both of my sons hear his heartbeat and explained all of the procedures including demonstrating the blood draw. Dr. Luce has established an amazing business and we are so proud to call them our family vet! They all really do treat our pets as their own! Thank you staff. Kim C. from Aldie, VA
