We have a full-service pharmacy that offers many of the medications that your pet will need, as well as prescription food and treats, and over-the-counter products, such as parasite controls, nutritional supplements, shampoos, etc.
Some of our clients have expressed interest in obtaining veterinary products via Internet pharmacies, citing convenience and cost savings as incentives. We recognize that convenience is a necessity in today's hectic society, which is why we offer free shipping on all heartworm and flea/tick preventative products including Heartgard™, Interceptor™, Revolution™, Frontline™, TriHeart™.
To order refills, please contact us and ask about manufacturer incentive discounts that may be available only when you purchase the above products from Aldie Veterinary Hospital. If you order additional prescriptions along with your heartworm and/or flea and tick preventative medications, shipping for your total order will be free.
Aldie Veterinary Hospital feels client education is very important. Because many of our client's purchase flea and tick prevention from on-line pharmacies, we felt it was important to pass along a letter we received from one of our manufacturers.

Return Policy for Prescriptions
The FDA Compliance Policy Guideline 7132.09 and the Board of Pharmacy indicate that we should not accept drugs for return. Aldie Vet remains responsible for contamination or adulteration of drugs. Therefore, we may not accept any dispensed product for refund unless it is in an unopened foil wrapper or in a sealed prepackaged container. In such cases the hospital will refund 50% of the fee as a good will gesture.
Products past expiration date will not be accepted under any circumstances. Other unused dispensed products will be accepted for return and disposal only. Unopened canned pet foods or unopened bags of dry food will be accepted for full refund.
Please understand the need to comply strictly with the guidelines. Consider if you would be willing to accept a product to treat your pet, if that product had been opened and returned.
